Arrival in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg was founded by the first Russian Emperor - Peter the Great on May 27, 1703. It was planned and built as the capital of the newly emerged Russian Empire. Today it is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the middle of summer, there is a unique phenomenon - white nights. For a few weeks, nights are as bright as days. And so cold Venice of the North sparkles like good champagne.
